Title: System Analyst
Location: Chicago, IL
Duration: 6+ months
The Manager is looking for a solid resource, who is skilled working with XML in EDI. The resources should have experience testing, and validation XML files. UAT experience would be ideal. This is a short term, replacement slot helping out while an employee is on extended leave. This is a project that is supporting a SEPA compliance project.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Consults with users to identify current operating procedures and to clarify program objectives.
• Identifies business requirements and effectively translates business requirements into design specifications.
• Develops and/or revises design documentation.
• Identifies elements of the existing system to incorporate in new designs, and prepares formal design specifications for review.
• Uses hardware and system software resources, and conforms to appropriate standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
Experience:
3-5 years systems analysis experience or in a related area; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Is responsible for setting up the test and testing with our clients. Testing includes communication methods,
digital signature verification, file format syntax, payment details validation, and error handling.
Build clients database in CVE environment to conduct end-to-end testing and client's sign-off on data and end results to client
Responsible for feasibility study/consulting on the solution to be implemented with our clients, and matching them to product capabilities within the Access suite of products, communicating when gaps exist.
Advises the project team and client on feasible solution that meets client requirement. Responsible for working with Implementation Management on the drafting the Plan of Approach and a Project Plan for our clients
Skills/Competencies:
• Familiarity with ERP Systems
• Familiarity with Cash Management
• Proficient with the IT world
• Proficient with EDI Data (X12/EDIFACT)
• Proficient with XML
• Proficiency with PKI security and Digital Signatures
• Proficient with communication protocols such as
o HTTPS
o AS2
o sFTP
o FTPs
• Project Management
• Ability to handle simultaneous projects
• Comfortable with testing tools (ie EDISIM)
• Exceptional Communication skills
o Via telephone
o Written / Email
o Ability to explain the Technical to non technical people
• Highly tuned planning and organizational skills
• Self starter
• Self managed
